Road to 21
A self-reflection guide to look back on a wobbly 2020 and set yourself up for a fabulous 2021.
Why Road to 21?
we will start 2021.
Until then, it's the perfect time to review your 2020, know where you stand right now, get clear about your vision and goals for 2021 and make your plan to get there. 🚀
Self-reflection can be a little overwhelming if you do it alone.
This is why we’d like to guide you through.
What's inside Road to 21?
The Road to 21 experience entails three e-workbooks:
1. Looking back at 2020
2. Assessing your current situation
3. Defining your 2021 goals and actions
In each workbook, you find introductions to the topics, many themed questions, space to jot down your answers, bonus pages, recommandations, extra tips and psychological insights. You'll also have a look at your feelings, fears, behaviors and dreams.
What people say
“The self-reflection program inspired me very much with the many questions for reflection. The daily inputs on a wide variety of topics also initiated many exciting discussions that would otherwise certainly not have been held. Thus not only bringing me a step further, but also my loved ones.
Thanks for the great project!"
Frequently asked questions
How much time should I spend per day? 😊
We recommend that you regularily take time to work on the e-workbook. You can also do it on the weekends, or in one go over the christmas holidays.
What if I don't have enough time before christmas? 🙃
Road to 21 is totally self-paced and can be done whenever you want to do it. You can also start with it during the christmas holidays or in the beginning of January.
Can I gift the program to someone for Christmas?🎁🎄
Of course! Just order it for yourself and then you have the right to send it to another person.
Why should I invest in a self-reflection program? 🤔
It’s so easy to lose track of who you are, what you enjoy, where you are in life, and where you’re going unless you purposely and intentionally take time to reflect. Many people set "new year's resolutions" but fail to plan on how to really achieve those goals. This is why only 8% of the people end up achieving their goals. We want you to be different. By intentionally doing self-reflection, you can increase your self-awareness, emotional intelligence and confidence about your skills and dreams.
Nicole's annual life review story
Hey! I'm Nicole, a psychologist, coach, consultant and the founder of Road to 21. Today, I want to share my story with you...
Last fall, I was not in a good place: I was very unhappy at work, had been rejected at several job interviews and didn't really know what I wanted. Basically, I was kinda lost. 😔
Then, Christmas came. After dinner, every family member was raving about their new projects and I could sense their enthusiasm while literally laying on the floor.
Where would I gather the courage to act like they do? To just go out boldly, chase opportunities and not being afraid of rejection?
Fortunately, a day later, my sister had the perfect gift: She put together a guide to reflect on the past year and to set goals for 2020.
It took me a long time to reflect and write down 15 pages.
But I really liked the outcome - I got clarity, a confidence boost and guess what: 2020 turned out to be a fabulous year for me and I truly stretched my comfort zone big time.
Since then, I've done and researched a lot about self-reflection, as well as delivered a very successful "Self-reflection September" with over 90 participants this fall.
I'd be very happy to support you on your Road to 21!
Louise's self-reflection story
Every year, at the 5th of December, we celebrate Sinterklaas. It’s a Dutch tradition, actually only for kids, but my favorite day of the year. Why? It’s a day in which we are together with my family and (aside from the gifts) we always write rhymes for each other. These can be about anything (the good, the bad AND the ugly) as long as it is about something that happened in the last year.
This is where my love for reflection comes from. It takes time, a lot of time to write these rhymes, but the outcome is very satisfying, as it reminds us of all our experiences, learnings, fun and less fun moments and sets a nice platform to show some gratitude. Just like actual reflection!
Self-reflection is going even a step deeper, it’s not about others, but completely about you! Showing, accepting and appreciating the milestones and your actions of the past year, helps to set a clear focus for the coming one(s).
In the last years I’ve learned a lot about the person I am and inspire to be. It’s an amazing journey and I am looking forward to achieve the same with and for you!
